I'm just trying to get an understanding of where kernel support is for these
products.

I've been running a 2.6.34 with Matt's patches on an SD with the Lenny Debian
distribution for some time on my TS7300. I needed to add some SPI support so I
took a clean 2.6.34 source and patched it with Petr's patches 0001 thru 0022. I
can't get this kernel to work. It always oops at the init point even though the
ramdisk has been loaded and recognised. I'm using the kernel command string I
always use - that's not the problem!

So being adventurous I took a clean 2.6.39 source and patched it with Petr's
patch 0015-ts72xx_sdcard.patch, did some tweaks to get it to compile and it
boots through to the Debian distribution and runs just fine. The only thing
I've noticed is that the BogoMips is reported as 49.71 under 2.6.39 whereas it
was 99.7 with 2.6.34.

Has anyone else run 2.6.39 on the TS7300?

Ian T.
