Dear All,

I have a Ubuntu system configure for kernel compilation.

I am using kernel version 2.4.26-ts11 from the ftp site. I am using crossto=
ols gcc-3.4.4-libc-2.3.2.

I am learning here so please bear with me.

I have compiled the kernel with the default options for the TS7300.

I have a debian SD card that runs at the moment and have done a dd of the v=
mlinux.bin file created to the first partition.

I then try to boot the board and get this on COM1:

>> TS-SDBOOT - built Jul 6 2006
>> Copyright (c) 2006, Technologic Systems
.
.
.
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 01:00

Am I making really obvious mistakes here?

If someone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Tom
