If you take a look at uname it shows that it was built with 4.2.1: Linux
version 2.6.34 (gcc version 4.2.1 (CodeSourcery Sourcery G++ Lite
2007q3-51)) #14 PREEMPT Sun Sep 26 13:44:17 PDT 2010

Try rebuilding the kernel with the same version of gcc.
