Ah! thanks! The relevant entries in 'ps ax' are: (this is a standard TS-7800
off the shelf system)
881 tty1 Ss+ 0:00 /sbin/getty 38400 tty1
882 ttyS0 Ss 0:00 -bash
885 ttyS1 Ss+ 0:00 /sbin/getty -L ttyS1 115200 vt100
So assumedly this is interfering with my COM2 access. How do I remove the above
COM2 entry?
