Hi All,
I am just starting out in the world of TS-7300, Linux and Electronics. I have
got the TS-7300 and need to attach that to a 240x320 LCD being controlled by a
S1D13700F01. I am connecting to the LCD using the GPIO of the LCD connector on
the board.
I am struggling to understand the steps needs to get Linux talking to that LCD.
The LCD requires indirect memory addressing and I need some guidance on how to
even begin working on this task.
So far I have found a frame buffer driver for the S1D1xxxx range of chips. This
I am sure will need modifying as it was originally writen for a different model.
What steps do i need to take getting Linux to know it has the LCD connected?
How does Linux know where i have connected the LCD on the EP9302. Then how does
the frame buffer know the specifics of the LCD controller?
I hope to eventually use an xserver to display an basic app.
Any help would be great. Would love to get something to read that explains this
to me.
Thanks,
Tom
I have been unable to find any good reading material to get up to scratch on
this whole subject. I know it is a lot of work.
Thanks,
Tom
