[ts-7000] [ts-7260] fail to login COM2 console by root

Dear all,

I am using ts-7260 and I want to change my console to COM2. I commented out 
getty on ttyAM0 on inittab and set JP2 + JP4. However, everytime I login by 
root to debian, it fails with message "Login incorrect". No I cannot modified 
initab to switch back the console to COM1. Do you have any idea? Thank you very 
much.
