I cannot get the following command to work: "iwconfig eth1 key NNNN-NNNN" I get the error: "Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported. However I can get nearly all other iwconfig commands to work, eg 'essid', 'mode', even 'key off' I can also get "iwlist eth1 scanning" to list all nearby APs, so the stick must be working OK. Perhaps I am not setting some global variable or othe switch? anybody know? NB The stick is an X-Micro XWL-11GUZX with the ZD1211(b) chipset. ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
