This is what I get in dmesg when I plug and unplug the device in and out:
usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 2
usb 2-1: new low speed USB device using mv5182_ehci and address 3
usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
HID device not claimed by input or hiddev
usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 3
usb 2-1: new low speed USB device using mv5182_ehci and address 4
usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
HID device not claimed by input or hiddev

Don't know for sure as I am only a linux novice. I am using the TS7800 Debian
and kernel straight out of the packet (i.e. SD card)
If I do "cat /proc/bus/usb/002/004" I get back a block of about 50 bytes
containing the first USB descriptor, which includes the device's PID and VID,
so the stick is being read. As I said in my other post, I can read the mouse
and KB reports, so I assume basic HDI support is included in this kernel
somehow.

Could you please explain how to do that? Thanks
