Hi
FYI : Beagleboard relesed a new hardware revision with Ethernet this summer:

We bought Beagleboard, but what we found out with it is we need full RS-232 port.
TS seriously lack software support department.  The best hardware is useless with obsolete (kernel) software.
Best regards,

Pierre

Thanks a lot :)
My motivations are only for educational purpose. I guess that most of users here are using TS hardware in a professional context.

As ynezz said, TS lacks of EU distributor. If I take example of TS-DIO24 I've bought recently, I've paid it nearly 90€ (it is sold $39)
$50 fees and 20€ import taxes.

However I accept donations :) You can find the paypal button on my page: http://mcrapet.free.fr/
I thank again previous donators (paypal or TS-hardware).

BeagleBoard seems great BUT lack of ethernet. I am not a big fan of putting all devices on USB bus (give a try to "powertop" tool and setup your mouse to 1000Hz refresh rate!).
It seems that OMAP soc do not include any ethernet anymore.

Matthieu
