hello I'm like you in a college project, I'm using a ts 7200, and honestly all 
I've done has been reading and testing codes, I'm programming in C, I'm using a 
real time clock and the implementation of the library time.h I've done 
everything that is related to time, I'm using LCD and keypad, with examples 
that are in the www.embeddedarm.com/ page could modify, but still do not 
understand how work, but I can input data x the keyboard and display on the 
LCD, I am now handling the initialization of the LCD from scratch, LCD driving 
ports and to initialize and still lack a lot of things I do, if you occupy any 
of the q I said gladly try to help you
