What do the patch-patches do? I'm using the matt-2 patches against the .34 kernel.
Could you send me your .config for the .34 kernel? I notice that in your printout you have the lines

where I have

Maybe my options for the initrd/ram disk are wrong.
How did you create your initrd image on the third partition of the SD card? I'm using the one from the lenny SD image from the TS site. That could be wrong as well.
