Dave, 
Each "device" consist in this case of several computers (running multiple os) 
and quite a bit of hardware. The TS 7260 is a minor detail in the system. The 
main trick of having such a complex system running synchronized is to time tag 
all the parameters that are used for sync or real time applications with the 
same quality clock. I uses a high end ntp server that triggers the whole system 
from the same 10 Mhz signal.

it is all synchronized with the 1 PPS or 10 MHz signal form the same ntp 
server.
