That will probably do it also, so maybe I should be looking for the ACM driver, however, it also works (or should work) to give usbserial vendor= and product=.   Or maybe I'm an ignoramus and the proper way to do it in 2.6 *is* via ACM?  Must do more research ....

Aren't you suppose to enable the ACM support in your kernel? Whenever I hook my Motorola V150 to the USB port  (on TS7200), all I get is a /dev/ttyACM0.

Anybody else running the 2.6 kernel on the ts-7400?  I'm running the

tswifibox kernel in order to get my Verizon Novatel U760 working,

but .... the included usbserial doesn't support vendor= and product= !

If you've got a 2.6.29 kernel, could I get a copy of your usbserial?

It's a pita to set up a cross-compilation toolchain (I've done it; I

know), so I'm looking for a shortcut.

The neat thing is that when I'm done, you'll be able to take a

tswifibox, pull out the USB wifi, put in a Verizon Novatel U760, and

have a 3G router.
