Hello,
I am trying to read the input I get from a USB keyboard. I am running Kernel
2.4 on Debian Sarge.

I have the package Hotplug installed.

I have the keyboard plugged in but nothing shows up under /dev/input.

I can test interrupts by cat/proc/interrupts. It's IRQ is found by dmesg | grep
usb. If I hit a key on the keyboard, it increases the interrupt count by 2.

I am using ttyAM0 with serial to test this and terminal in.

For some reason, it creates a /dev/input/mice file and a /dev/usbmouse@ file.
I try cat'ing those and pressing buttons on the keyboard but nothing shows up.

What do I need to do to read the input??
