Hi,
I'm new to Linux and Eclipse, so please forgive my question. I'm hoping
someone will be kind enough to give me a hand.
I have been working on a program written in C for several months. Now I need
it to connect to a MySQL database on a Windows PC. I have spent several days
trying to find exactly how to do this. I have down loaded the MySQL client
Connector/C 6.0.2 and have set the include and lib paths. When compiling I get
an error the libmysqlclient.a is incompatible. Does the lib need be compiled
from source within Eclipse to be used with the cross-compile tool?
So my question is, what I need to do in Eclipse running on Windows to allow me
to cross compile a program written in C that includes the MySQL client?
Thanks for your help,
John
