Quick answer: not much, not enough to power a WiFi dongle, but enough for a USB
audio adaptor. If you're powering the board off 5v with JP7 connected it might
work, but I found the board would still brown out on occasion.
The power supply for the USB apparently powers the LCD port too, which the
manual claims has a 750mA polyfuse on it. I think that is a bit misleading. :-)
Also I managed to blow up the SMPS that powers the USB port (I think) by
feeding the board 12v with JP7 installed. Does anyone have any experience with
that? I'm wondering if it is easy/cheap to repair, or if something else may
have gone wrong.
