The only issue I see with the EP9302's SPI interface is if your board 
has the temperature sensor option.  As I remember from my 7200 the temp 
sensor is not SPI compliant as it doesn't tri-state it's outputs, making 
it difficult to add another device to the bus.  If you don't have the 
temp sensor then it should work fine, or if it does you may have to 
disconnect it for the time being.
