Hello, I have recently acquired a 7260 that I wish to use for
developing a proof of concept with, and I have been trying to boot the
board into a 2.6.24 kernel compiled via OpenEmbedded (using the ts72xx
machine configuration). I am quite new to this, and have been hitting
some walls that I hoped might be solved on this group.

I have successfully created a kernel image and root filesystem. I was
originally trying to use RedBoot to load the kernel via tftp, and then
execute it with the root filesystem via NFS. The best I could manage
was to get the "Uncompressing kernel..." message after which nothing
would happen.

Then I tried a variety of other things, including running the
tsbootrom-update utility to switch to booting from a SD card, which I
initialized with this image:

ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7200-linux/binaries/ts-images/512mbsd-7400-linux2629-lenny-eabi.dd.bz2

The board now reaches the same state of uncompressing the kernel but
then going no further.

Could anyone give me some advice on getting the system running, either
the Debian Lenny distro provided by this image, or better yet my
compiled OpenEmbedded image?

Kind regards,
Matt
