Hi,
I have a TS7260 and I am trying to send data via an Iridum satellite modem.
The modem is connected via serial cable to /dev/ttyAM0, I have moved the serial
console to /dev/ttyAM1 as per instructions and disabled getty on /dev/ttyAM0.
Using Minicom or Kermit to send data via zmodem or kermit protocol, to the base
computer (Debian PC box, also with Iridium modem attached) the session will
start but after a few blocks of data it will timeout and eventually hangup.
This happens everytime not matter what I do with flow control or speed
settings. If I try and send data to the TS7260 it works fine and the modems
also will work fine between to PC based Debian boxes running minicom etc.
So it seems I only have trouble if I am transmitting from the TS7260
/dev/ttyAM0 serial port, what is going on!! I have spent weeks on this and I'm
running out of time as the boxes are to be deployed to Antarctica in a couple
of weeks!
Thanks,
Dazz
