Hi Charlie,

Thanks for your response. I'm just a beginner on this so apologies in advance
if I'm doing something lame.

The previous errors I got were from trying to backport from the 2.6.31 tree
which seemed too new. I went into the archives and snagged copies of the
2.6.23 source and used the bluetooth files from those. There were 2 errors
that I (perhaps errantly?) corrected (in files net/bluetooth/hci_sysfs.c and
net/bluetooth/hidp/core.c).

I was able to compile and boot this version but still get the same issue I had
with the 2.6.21-TS source.

Any further thoughts? This happens with 3 different bluetooth dongles. Could
it be a USB issue?

josh
