To be clear, I didn't do the backport, only made some suggestions.  When this 
thread started, it was 2.6.23 --> 2.6.21-TS, but now we're up to 2.6.31 and 
there could be substantial differences in the source tree layout.  That said, 
if you need to stay with 2.6.21-TS:

* Errors below look like you may have the wrong include file.  Verify you 
copied the BT include files your newer kernel too.  Maybe other (non-BT) 
headers have changed too?
* Or, get an older kernel like 2.6.23, and backport *that* BT stack to 
2.6.21-TS.

What kind of BT errors are you seeing with 2.6.21-TS?  I find it's often easier 
in the long run to go forward with a current kernel rather than back.
