[ts-7000] linux 2.6 kernel for ts7260 -- which one to use?

Hi Group,

What is the best fork/version of the 2.6 linux kernel to use with a ts7260?

I have had success with 2.6.29.1 with Matt's ts7200 patch 4.  Now I want to get 
sdcard going.  According to the thread "where's the source?" Breton has 
reported getting 2.6.27.31 going with sd card support on a ts7400, but it looks 
like that kernel version is going to need patching to get working with the 
7260.  Before I attempt to hand-patch 2.6.27.31, I just wanted to ask.

Should I just work with linux-next and start maintaining a set of patches based 
on everything I can find that works, or is there a better place to be?
