Hello,
I have been researching for a couple of days on how to set up a small
low-power, low-cost, rugged system to capture video and also to sample some
analog signals and make them available hopefully via satellite from hot and
remote locations.
After setting up debian on QEMU ARM emulator and installing the software
"Motion" I was quite delighted. Next I decided that I needed to find physical
hardware which would run this stuff. I was once again delighted to find
Technologic Systems webpage. They recommended that I try out the TS-7260 SBC,
and I also noticed on this mailing list that others have had some experience
setting up video, so I think I'm on the right track...so I ordered a TS-7260 to
try out.
What I need to find now is a camera which at the very least has been tried with
linux (and hopefully has an arm driver compatible with the kernels supported by
the TS-7260) but also, importantly, it has to be a rugged outdoor-capable
camera.
Does anyone have any suggestions on cameras for arm/linux? (I just realized
that question is slightly off-topic, but I am hoping that someone who has done
this with a TS-7000 series sbc would respond!)
Thanks,
Andrew Wolven
