The Linux manual provided by TS is not very clear when it comes to setting up
the real-time kernel on the 7260.
>From what I understand, I must
fis delete vmlinux
fis create -b 0x00218000 -l 0x160000 <new kernel name>
This is what I don't understand. Was I supposed to load the new kernel
somewhere before using the 'create' command? Do I need to download
vmlinux-7260-ts11-rt.bin
onto the board somewhere first? The text says "First, one must delete the
existing kernel image file from flash, then write the new loaded one to disk."
This would seem like I need to do a
load -v -r -b 0x00281000 -h xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx
first. The problem is that I am unsure about what xxxxx and xxxxx are. I am
trying to load
vmlinux-7260-ts11-rt.bin
but where should I put that file on my computer or on the device? If someone
could just order the steps, I can figure out the nuances along the way. I'm
reluctant to do trial and error because I don't want to brick my device. Any
help starting would be grrreat.
