of course: note the device name 

What have you actually enabled in the kernel from what was suggested d here? I 
get the feeling you have not it all. This is bog std linux stuff, you should 
just google it rather than expecting step by step instructions.

Your trouble on redboot was fair enough but you should not flood this group 
with low level linux help questions.
