IMHO, this WIFI USB thing is a complete piece of excrement.
Okay so I found an earlier message as follows:
> 1) Started Debian from USB Stick
> 2) loaded zd_b.o located in /lib/modules/2.4.26-ts11/kernel/net
> insmod zd_b.o
For some reason I have to use the full path to insmod it.
> 3)started wlan
> ifconfig wlan0 up
> 4)configured wlan0
> iwconfig wlan0 essid ts7260 mode Ad-Hoc key off
> 5)set ip of wlan0
> ifconfig wlan0 192.168.0.100
> 6)routed it to default gateway
> route add default gw 192.168.0.1
> finshed
So I did all of that. But it didn't set the ESSID so I do that again.
Then the whole machine rebooted on its own...and kept rebooting until I pulled
power. GAH!!!!
Hasn't anyone gotten this thing to work? Does it even work under TS-Linux?
