Hello,
I've tried the armel-lenny distro with the latest TS kernel (2008-10-10). It
runs well with one flaw:
hwclock utility doesn't work, it complains about /dev/rtc missing
But the kernel recognizes the rtc chip:
rtc-m48t86 rtc-m48t86: rtc core: registered m48t86 as rtc0
rtc-m48t86 rtc-m48t86: battery ok
the /sys/class/rtc/rtc0 with respective files exist
and /proc/driver/rtc seems be also ok:
7800:/proc/driver# cat rtc
rtc_time : 09:27:53
rtc_date : 2009-04-22
24hr : yes
mode : bcd
battery : ok
But in /dev directory there is no rtc* device.
In the previous version I used the rtc7800 utility but it was abandoned.
I'm stuck at that point, any suggestions are very appreciated.
Jiri
