[ts-7000] Recording Sound on TS-7800: One -- Last -- Try

Hello all,

After struggling in vain for quite a few months trying to get USB sound 
(ALSA) **recording** to work on the TS-7800, I have just about given up. 

So here's my one final plea out to the group:  Has anyone been able to 
get sound recordings to work on the TS-7800 successfully?
