Hi Rob,
I haven't seen a step by step guide on getting started appart
from the one that TS provides
(http://www.embeddedarm.com/about/resource.php?item=370). I have been
working with the 7390 for a couple months now, so if I can help you
with anything specific just post around or email me

The only step by step guide I have followed is to install debian from
scratch if you need to.

If you are starting out, the first thing you should probably do is
turn it on (it comes with a small Linux OS preloaded into the
nand-flash) and play with it for a while. You will probably need a
serial communication cable like the one that comes with the
development kit for the 7390. Getting familiar with Linux in general
and the boot process (google it) is also helpful.
