1) With your favourite text editor, open up the
file /etc/apt/sources.list
2) Comment out the old source entry with a "#":
#deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian sarge main contrib non-free
3) Insert the following line:
deb http://archive.debian.org/debian sarge main contrib non-free
4) Save the file and run:
# apt-get update
You should be in business at this point.
