I have managed to get serial_blaster down to a newly built Debian Linux system and it's working. But what images for boot.bin and redboot.bin should I be using? When I use the boot.bin that comes out of the make process, I see the banner indicating a TS-7250 and not 7260...does that matter? And I have not come across a redboot.bin that seems to work to allow the 7260 to boot at all...I always get a timeout at the end of serial_blaster.

I think the boot.bin that you've built *should* be OK for a TS-7260, but make sure you've modified the SDRAM_SIZE and FLASH_SIZE to the correct values for your 7260. By default, they are set to 32MB SDRAM and 32MB Flash. You should probably also verify the REDBOOT_FLASH_ADDRESS is correct for a 7260 as well.  The banner is just hard-coded to say 7250.

I had some problems using the redboot.bin that was built by serial blaster with my TS-7250.  The version supplied with serial blaster was an old version that did not have a driver for the large-page NAND on my system.  I ended up just symlinking a copy of the stock redboot bin  for my system to redboot.bin in the serial_blaster directory and then modified the serial_blaster to bang out a bunch of CTRL+Cs after sending the redboot.bin to halt the boot script.

I took a quick look on TS's ftp site and didn't see a redboot bin file specific to the TS-7260.  There was a changelog  that seems to insinuate that the same redboot.bin that works with the large-page TS-7250 is for all TS-72X0 systems, b u t you might want to confirm that.  I don't have a TS-7260 at my disposal.

I've got a PDF file with my notes from my adventures recovering my two TS-7250 systems, if you'd like me to email you a copy.
