It's good to see that there are already people in the group who are doing this.
Could you please post a quick set of instructions to the list to get
up and running with OE? I originally started out following the
instructions for the BeagleBoard when I started with OE and found them
relatively easy to follow. [1]
Also, could you also post an 'overlay' (or a tarball of patches,
changed .bb and .bbclass files) to the 'files' section on the ts-7000
Yahoo Groups page? [2]
Maybe there's even someone on the list who has wouldn't mind hosting a
wiki / git server for the TS7xxx / OE build database. If TS themselves
did this, then all that they would really ever be responsible for was
proof-reading and submitting patches now and then.
The benefit for TS would be, of course, a much more productive and
less stressed-out customer base. Not to mention that TS wouldn't lose
existing and potential customers to companies already using OE ;-)
Cheers,
Chris
