on the ep9301:
timer1 is allocated by the kernel for scheduling.
timer2 and timer3 are free and available to the user, check the ep9301 manual for  IRQ numbers and register addresses.
timer 4 is a 40 bit timer, but is generally used for debugging.
The control/status registers for all timers can be accessed by the /dev/mem mechanism described in the TS manuals.
I've written a little driver that makes accessing timers convenient but it's not quite polished yet...

Subject: [ts-7000] Accessing TS7200 EP9301 Timers with TS-LINUX

I am new to TS7200 and Linux. I need to use a timer for periodic
polling. I know the EP9301 has four timers. I'm not sure which are
allocated to Linux. What timers are available to users? What is the
correct Linux way to access the user available timers? Is there any
documentation on what services are available with TS-LINUX? I went
through the includes for the cygwin cross compiler and found a timer.h
but it doesn't seem to be available?

Thanks for any help!
