Many thanks for the 2.6.27.4 patchset.
New ts7200 user here, just got my board set up and did a bit of testing on
the stock kernel and debian distro. Decided kernel 2.4 is insufficient for
my realtime requirements so poked around for 2.6 options and found this
list and the 2.6.27.4 patchset.
I installed the gcc crosstools from Technologic, patched 2.6.27.6 from
kernel.org with the 2.6.27.4 patchset, tweaked the Makefile slightly for my
paths, and it built perfectly on the first try. I then grabbed the Debian
system image from Technologic and extracted it onto a CF card. I was able
to TFTP the kernel to the ts7200 and boot from the CF.
I'm not using any of the more "interesting" peripherals, just a couple
serial ports, but all is working very nicely. I've been able to apt-get
some packages that were missing and have sshd up and running (with new host
keys ... personally I don't think Technologic should be including host keys
in the filesystem image as unwary users will all end up with the same
keys).
In any case, thanks a lot for the 2.6 patchset, it saved me a ton of time!
