I discovered today that this doesn't work for all cases, there is a message printed as the system is shutting down that causes a complete hang. The fix to that is to edit the reboot boot command and remove the "console=/dev/ttyAM0" from the exec script. A huge PITA for me as I allready have a # of these devices in the field that are going to have to have this fix applied in the field. This infact may have been the fix to issue all along, I may have to experiment with it. Sam ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
