Forgive this newbie question; I've searched the posts as best as I
could. Everywhere talks about NFS boot, maybe what I'm trying to do
isn't possible...
Is it possible to run NFS in the JFFS filesystem, so that the TS7200
is visible on the network as a mappable drive in Windows? I have
networking with TCP/IP up and running; and can see my 7200 index.html
via HTTP and Apache. But what is really desired is to be able to just
link directly to it.
Booting the Debian compact flash ext2 system, on /etc/init.d, I see
some NFS stuff; but nothing on /etc/init.d when booting /dev/mtdblock1
onboard TSLinux.
Am I completely out to lunch on this? Are NFS and JFFS mutually
exclusive? or is NFS a "service" or protocol that runs on top of
TCP/IP, like FTP or HTTP?
Thanks,
John
