[ts-7000] ts7250 thumbdrive bootup

Hi,

I'm totally new to this. I've been developing for a while so I should
be fine as long as I get going.

This is essentially what I want to do:

I have a ts7250. I am developing on a mac. I want to boot the ts 7250
from a thumb drive. I want to install a few specific perl libraries i
need. And, if possible but not necessary, I would like for a wireless
dongle to work on it so I can connect to it ad-hoc. 

Where do I start? The manual is not very helpful.

Can I make the whole thing on my mac and just simply transfer it to a
flash drive and let it do its thing?
