Could you tell me the complete kernel boot options line? I got the kernel running, but I don't know how to load the root filesystem 2008/10/8 Pradip De <>
I first booted into the 2.4 kernel and then used bootload to boot the zImage of the 2.6.21 kernel. I actually gave /bin/sh as the init script instead of linuxrc to boot into the busybox shell and then mounted the various devices from there.
For the pppd devices, I now see a terminated connection immediately after I call pppd.
root#pppd /dev/bus/usb/001/002 115200 noauth persist local debug ipv6 ::cafe & [1] 806 root# [1]+ Done pppd /dev/bus/usb/001/002 115200 noauth persist local debug ipv6 ::cafe

Could you explain how did you made the 2.6.21 kernel boot? Have you looked at the dmesg output when you connect the device? 2008/10/8 Pradip De <m("ymail.com","pradipde");" target="_blank"> com>
Hi, I have the 2.6.21-ts kernel running with a Debian distribution on the TS-7400. However, when I try to start pppd, it doesnt recognise the usb device. I tried something like
pppd /dev/bus/usb/ 005 115200 auth local ipv6 ::cafe & However, the device '/dev/bus/usb/ 005' isnt recognized. If anybody has tried something similar, I would like to know the name of the usb devices created.
thanks, Pradip
