| Subject: | [ts-7000] RS-485 and Java |

Folks...
I need to read some MODBUS meters with Java on a TS-7250. I have
already done this on COM1 using a RS-485 to RS-232 converter and RxTx.
However, I now want to interface with my modbus devices using COM2.
The TS-7250 that I purchased has full duplex RS-485 capability.
However, how do I enable it with the ioctl call (TIOC_SBCS485)? I do
not have a lot of low level C development experience and it looks like
ioctl can only be called on an open file handle.
I would prefer not to do JNI if at all possible.
Ideas must appreciated
Liam
