[ts-7000] slip configuring problem on ts7800

Hi everybody,

I have configured slip on my ts7800:

/sbin/slattach -p slip -s  19200 -L /dev/ttyS1 & 
/sbin/ifconfig sl0 192.168.171 pointopoint 192.168.170 up  

properly adding route, but ping to a linux fedora pc slip configured
doesn't run.

The same experiment runs without any problems between two linux fedora pc.

Did anyone try to configure slip with good results?
