I want to reduce the bootup time of a TS-7250. Most of the time appears to be spent initializing the Yaffs2 filesystem. Would the checkpoint feature that's in the current Yaffs2 code help? Can the current Yaffs2 code be made to work with TS's 2.4 kernel? I tried and ended up with all blocks marked "bad". Apparently Yaffs2 and the NAND flash driver disagree on the data layout. If you have a solution, or if you're interested in doing this work for hire, let me know. Thanks. ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
