I've give all that a try, but... I have two bootable SD cards here, one is the development kit from Technologic and the other I'd made, but neither of them boot, either.  When I power on, this is all I see (on the serial console):

.

We don't have any video or keyboard or anything, just the basic board.  It will just sit like that forever (well, at least for hours, that was close enough to forever for me).
