Does anyone know if the information in the TS-SER4 document is
applicable to the COM ports directly on a TS-7800? Most importantly,
with regard to the RS-485 capability (when that option is present)?

Since the COM ports directly on a TS-7800 are COM1 and up, and the
document talks about the same range, I'm wondering if the document might
also be used for the main board ports or if the TS-SER4 disables all of
the main board ports in favors of its own or what. Does anyone know?

Thanks!
