I'm sorry, I didn't specify that data were in the FAT partition of the SD mounted in the file system.

this is df output:

Filesystem           1K-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
tmpfs                    63380         0     63380   0% /dev/shm
tmpfs                    10240        20     10220   1% /dev
/dev/tssdcardb1        1479844   1020484    459360  69% /mnt/other_partition

this is /proc/mounts:

rootfs / rootfs rw 0 0
/dev/root /initrd ext2 rw 0 0
none /proc proc rw 0 0
none /sys sysfs rw 0 0
none /initrd/dev tmpfs rw 0 0
none /initrd/dev/pts devpts rw 0 0
none /initrd/dev/shm tmpfs rw 0 0
/dev/tssdcardb4 / ext3 rw,data="" 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs rw 0 0
/dev/tssdcardb4 /dev/.static/dev ext3 rw,data="" 0 0
tmpfs /dev tmpfs rw 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts rw 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs rw 0 0
/dev/tssdcardb1 /mnt/other_partition vfat rw,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=utf8 0 0

thanks in advance

I don't know the layout of your filesystems, and you don't say where you
were setting up the directories and saving the files!

If you were doing under the /tmp directory, then check that the /tmp
directory is mounted as a ramfs/tmpfs or similar. These filesystems are in
RAM and disappear when the machine is rebooted. Check the output of
the "df" command, or do "cat /proc/mounts" to check which part of the file
structure is stored where.
