Hi!
All the TWI stuff (select, read, write) is only for selecting channel
and starting the conversion as you have mentioned. The AVR chip which
does the conversion is programmed for doing 2048 samples in one
sampling cycle. All those samples are stored in the shared memory
after a while (aprox. 1s).
Unfortunately the ts7800ctl sample program does several things and it
takes some time to understand its source code. But with the help of
the documentation here: ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/tmp/7800_adc_update/
and here: http://oz.embeddedarm.com/~michael/support/ts7800.html#adc
you are definetely able to come through .
Regards
Jiri
