[ts-7000] Can jp6 of TS7200 be used as R/W ? Can I use jp5 for reading a

In the spaecification sheet of TS7200, the address of jp6 is given as 
0x2280 0000.

I can read from it using the usual mmap(...) but when I try to write to 
it as *dat=0 or 1 ... nothing the signals on the pin remain same.

The other jumpers jp2-jp5 are mentioned as RO (Read Only) while nothing 
is mentioned about jp6 (user jumper).
