Here are some things you might try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Verify the device file created when tsuart-rf loads. Another TS-UART may
have already claimed the one you think the RF board is using.
- Verify there is a good connection between the AERO module and the RF2
board.
- Verify that you are sending the correct attention string to the modem. I
don't recall off the top of my head what this string is for the AERO radio.
Be sure that you are observing the correct guard times. I have also noticed
that some modem devices are picky about other aspect of timing (e.g. if I
type "+++" manually nothing happens, but if I paste "+++" all at once from
my paste buffer it works)
- Try different baud rates, in case the default baud rate for the AERO radio
got changed
