Hello,

I have applied your patch to my board,TS-7200. and used TS-72XX config file located in arch/arm/configs/ for default config file. My gcc compiler is arm-none-gnueabi.

However, the folowing error is appeared when I want to load Image:

Error: unrecognized/unsupported machine ID (r1 = 0x00000163).

Available machine support:

ID (hex)        NAME
000002a1        Technologic Systems TS-72xx SBC

Please check your kernel config and/or bootloader.

My boot loader spec is:

Platform: TS-7200 Board (ARM920T) Rev A
Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 Red Hat, Inc.

RAM: 0x00000000-0x02000000, [0x00044f88-0x01fdd000] available
FLASH: 0x60000000 - 0x61000000, 128 blocks of 0x00020000 bytes each.

it would be so glad to me if you help me about this problem.

Best regards,

Abbas Javadtalab

Greetings,

The file "linux-2.6.24. 4-ts7200_ matt-5.patch" has been posted in the
yahoo group file area.
http://tech. groups.yahoo. com/group/ ts-7000/messages ?o=1

Here is a kernel 2.6.24.4 patch (against mainline Linux kernel) for my
TS-7200.
It includes:
- Flash mapping driver for 8mo nor flash (physmap mapping driver can be
used too)
- Ethernet ("new" version using PHY lib)
- RTC (ep93xx and ts5620: RTC daughterboard)
- cpufreq driver (configured for ep9301, not tested with ep9302)
- Leds (red and green)
- Watchdog (CPLD of TS-7200)
- Compact flash (pio mode only) [/dev/sda]
- TS-SER1 (PC/104 peripheral) support [/dev/ttyS0]
- Max197 option (platform driver)
- I2C
- SPI master driver, and TMP124 support [new]
- USB
- /proc/cpuinfo : ep93xx cpu revision & uniq ID [updated]
- /proc/driver/ sbcinfo : some infos about TS-72XX sbc

One note about TMP124 driver
This uses 3-wrire SPI (miso and mosi pins are on the same pin)
and Cirrus IP can only handle regular 4-wire SPI.
So I can only read to the sensor and not configure it.
# cat /sys/bus/spi/ devices/spi1. 0/temperature
34.50

As usual, your comments and help are welcome.

Regards,
Matthieu
