I think, that there was U-Boot for some EP9302 board somewhere. Maybe it was
for some TS board, but I can't really recall it now.

Why do you need fconfig for it? fconfig is just a tool which can change or
read RedBoot _configuration_ from userspace. You can't replace kernel or root
FS with fconfig. You can just replace kernel in runtime using dd or cat. I've
done it like year ago, but I remember it was working.
