I don't think they're at liberty to do so.  I believe they signed an 
NDA and bought into the SD consortium, or whatever.

It's not TS you have to push.  Also ISTR that the SD card technology 
is wrapped in patents, so even if you get access to the supersecret 
code you still have patents to deal with.

Anyone know more about the SD consortium deal?
